Prey 2 Not Cancelled Simply Delayed Beyond 2012

Development of Prey 2 has not been cancelled as it had been previously reported but instead the sequel to Human Head’s 2006 shooter will not be released in 2012 as it was earlier planned according to Bethesda’s blog.

The blog cites the delay is due to the fact that game development has not progressed satisfactorily this past year, and the game does not currently meet the company’s quality standards.

So,it seems like Bethesda doesn’t intending on disappointing the fans and are determined to deliver a AAA experience that the fans of this franchise expect from the sequel. This is good news for any fan of the original Prey.
