Capcom Announces Three New Titles.

Capcom has today announced that it has three new titles, DmC Devil May Cry, ASURA’S WRATH and Dead Rising 2: CASE WEST currently in development.

DmC sees Capcom collaborating with UK based Ninja Theory to explore new frontiers for the series. DmC is in development for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®3 computer entertainment system. Man Ninja Theory has been busy lately |I hope this game has new controversy than Metroid: Other M. Apparently the ‘Devil May Cry DNA’ remains but now has a dark and brutal gameplay (you know because it was sissy beforehand) that promises to redefine the franchise.

Set against a contemporary backdrop, DmC will depict a duplicitous world where nothing is ever as it seems and the line between good and evil is constantly blurred. Spurred into action by the promises of a trusted relation, Dante bursts into this world intent on revenge at any cost. DmC will retain the series’ signature mix of sword and gunplay but add additional weapons, all new powers and a revitalised gameplay system as players encounter the game’s devilish mix of enemies and navigate the rich, interactive environment.

ASURA’S WRATH (and yes apparently it is all in caps) is a brand new title scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system and the PlayStation 3 system. Inspired by Asian mythology and fused with science fiction, ASURA’S WRATH will redefine the action genre by delivering unprecedented levels of dynamism, drama and interaction.

Once a revered deity, Asura was betrayed by his fellow gods and stripped of all his powers. Consumed by anger at the injustice he has suffered and swearing vengeance, Asura discovers he can use this fury to his advantage and turn it against his enemies. By channelling his inner rage, Asura is now able to unleash devastating attacks and wreak havoc as he battles against the deities who have wronged him and their earthly forces. Inspired by episodic dramas, ASURA’S WRATH will be split into distinct sections with gameplay and narrative unfolding as one and building to a final climatic conclusion. The game is another joint game with Capcom joining forces with Japanese developer CyberConnect2.

Complimenting Dead Rising 2TM: CASE ZERO, Dead Rising 2: CASE WEST will extend the Dead Rising 2 experience by delivering brand new content and the return of a familiar face. Available exclusively on Xbox LIVE® online entertainment system following the release of Dead Rising 2TM, Dead Rising 2: CASE WEST will see Frank West team up with Chuck Greene for some serious co-op action. In co-op mode, Xbox LIVE®Gold members will see the two protagonists delve deeper into the reasons behind the Fortune City outbreak and provide further links to the Willamette incident.
