Hey Microsoft, Where Are The Core Games For Kinect?

So about a year ago when Project Natal was first starting off, many Xbox 360 and even other gamers were worried about the future of their console. A local shovelware dumping ground didn’t sound quite appealing and Natal looked like it would serve extra servings of it. But Microsoft reassured us, holding our hands and telling us that everything would be alright. Since then, nothing has changed. After that "conference" at E3, we were shown nothing but how to please little girls.

"But it’ll be implemented in AAA games like Halo and Gears of War."

Man I can’t stand that. First of all, that’s false because Bungie and Epic are probably smart enough to not want any Kinect crap on their games. And even if they did, just imagine what you would use it for. Shaking your head so your dude in game does the same thing? Come on people!

No, I’ll shall you what the future of Kinect is. Are you sure you’re ready for this? Alright, the following image is not for the light of heart.

Look at it! Does it burn?! DOES IT BURN?!

That’s the future of Xbox 360 and Kinect if Microsoft keeps it up. At least other motion controllers do offer hardcore alternatives. The Move has games like KZ3 and Socom 4 to keep gamers happy, while the Wii has Super Smash Bros., Metroid, and the Conduit. But the Kinect? Nothing but "Joy Ride" and "Kinect Adventures".

And as much fun as it is to make fun of the Xbox 360, this is just sad. I hope Microsoft just go crazy and man up at GamesCon to show us the AAA future of Kinect. I can’t stand watching my Xbox 360 brethren jumping and swinging their arms like they’re trying to save themselves from drowing to make sure their raft swims to safety.

We’ll give updates on Kinect and it’s software as time goes on. Check back here next time for more info.
