Gamers are likely still playing through Bayonetta, the latest release from Platinum Games (formerly known as Clover), best known for their work on Viewtiful Joe and Okami on the Gamecube and Playstation 2.
Since the development team’s departure from Capcom, two games have been released from the talented studio: Madworld (Wii) and the aforementioned Bayonetta (PS3/360). And while that is great for console gamers, what about gamers on the go?
Platinum answers that with the very ambitious DS title, Infinite Space, due out at the end of March this year. Players take part in an epic science-fiction story where they can design and take control of a spaceship, fight enemies, and recruit over 150 crew members in an adventure that spans two galaxies. Platinum Games promises the story will cover some "very high-level, philosophical science fiction stuff", as well as discovering the role of mankind in the vastness of outer space.
Gamers, be sure to get your pre-orders in (highly suggest Amazon) and get prepared for what is promised to be one of the most exciting DS games yet. With the pedigree of the development team, we can expect some great things from this upcoming title!
