Ages ago we told you of the movie being based on Asteroids; going pretty well, so far it’s about a couple of brothers in space-ships doing something, that’s all I’ve got. Atari seeing that they can make money off their old franchises are now in “active discussions” on a movie adaptation of the game Missile Command according to the LATimes.

Chances are high you’ve played Missile Command before, probably for free. You have to defend a plot of ground with six cities against a missile bombardment by, uh, shooting missiles at them and creating a massive coloured bubble. Also the planet’s name was Zardon and the guys doing the shooting? The armies Krytol, all there in the manual folks.

Fox is probably going to get the rights to make the film, it’ll probably be in 3D and no I don’t have a clue what the plot will be like.
