Nintendo Announces the 3Ds

Many analysts predicted Nintendo would talk about releasing a new DS this year, and many sources have indicated Nintendo has been working on implementing 3D into the handheld without having to wear those annoying glasses. In dramatic fashion, Nintendo announced the 3DS with some fun videos including Reggie and Miyamoto. Even better were the announced titles for the 3DS, with Kid Icarus being the main trailer, but a video chat with developers like Hideo Kojima talking about bringing their games to the system should do a great job of boosting the hype.

At their E3 Press conference, Nintendo announced the updated handheld without a time frame for release.
