Persona 4: The Golden Heading for a North American Release this Fall

Atlus USA has announced that they are bringing Persona 4 to the PS Vita in North America this fall in an expanded, portable version of the original.
Persona 4 Golden sees a range of enhancements and the addition of new content to the original game that was released in Japan and North America in 2008 for the PlayStation 2. The game promises remastered visuals, more voiced dialogue, new story events, new Personas, additional anime cutscenes, and an online rescue feature. It also includes a new character that can become a part of the player’s party and scooters that make transportation around P4′s setting,Inaba a lot easier.
Atlus have also said that the game includes tweaks recommended by fans.
Originally released as Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 on the PS2 in 2008, the game was a critical success that stood out for being an unconventional Japanese role-playing game that explored themes of nostalgia,loss,Japanese commercialization viewed from a small-town’s point of view as well as gender identity issues and other unconventional sexual themes.
Persona 4 has went onto become a personal favourite of many PS2 gamers and this announcement will certainly excite those who were waiting for the Vita remake.
