Backtrack to November 2008, where many AAA games such as L4D, Gears 2, LBP and Resistance 2 came out. Many thought that was perhaps the single best month in gaming. They were right- until now.  MLB 10: The Show

Platforms: PS2/PSP/PS3

Why We’re Excited: The Show happens to be among the best rated sports games every year. And there’s a reason; the developers precision at capturing the fun of baseball and putting it inside a videogame.

Battlefield Bad Company 2

Platforms: PC/PS3/Xbox 360

Why We’re Excited: The Battlefield Series is one of the best FPS series on the market. And this one looks like it’s going to take home the FPS crown this year with it’s completely destructible environment engine, sweet graphics and a revamped MP and SP.

Supreme Commander 2

Platforms: Xbox 360/PC

Why We’re Excited: The first was one of the best strategy games with access to hundreds and hundreds of AI for you to win. The second looks to improve its predecessor with a better engine, more AI to control, and a new skill tree.

Final Fantasy XIII

Why We’re Excited: The Final Fantasy Series has always been among the best JRPG’s and this one is no different. While some despise the fact that’s is going more western, it’s still a great quality game.

Pokemon Gold/Silver Remakes

Platforms: Nintendo DS

Metro 2033

Platforms: Xbox 360/PS3/PC

Why We’re Excited: Metro 2033 will offer something not found in many of today’s FPS’s. A great story based on a apocalyptic war with RPG, FPS and horror elements. Wait a second, we have seen this before! In Fallout 3, and Bioshock (to an apocalyptic extent) and both of those turned out amazing so we have high expectations for Metro 2033.

Command and Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight
