A user on NeoGAF forums took a picture of a Best Buy display showing that  digital Playstation Vita titles are $5 less than their physical counterparts:

Of couse, this could just be an error on Best Buy's part.  However, IGN reached out to Sony for comment and Sony responded with, "PSN games will be discounted. We will be issuing final pricing details shortly."

We will keep you updated once Sony gives further details.

5$ isn\'t much, but I guess it\'s better than nothing. Still, the fact that we still need to pay for the games we already bought for the PSP pisses me off.

And so they should be. This still won\'t get me to come around to the idea of downloading games though. I\'m old school I love going to the shops and buying a game, and reading the manual on the way home on the bus.

Iwata said Wii U retail games would be cheaper aswell if bought digitally, and if Vitas are 5 dollars less, I wonder how much we would save with Wii U too.
