According to leaked information Mircosoft is set to increase prices in some of its products. due to the weak British Pound and the exchange rate between the Euro the Xbox 360 Arcade version could be seeing an increase in price from £129.99 (~$212) to £159.99 (~$260). The current range of 5 Arcade games given away with the console will also be altered in some way. Unknown if this means the games themselves will change, the number of games or the whole idea of ”here’s some free games for you” dropped completely.

 

 

 

In addition to the Arcade version increasing in price accessories such as Controllers, headsets and the various other doodads will see a price increase of a couple of pounds.

 

This is a somewhat confusing message at the moment with rumours of Microsoft dropping the Pro version of the 360 and reports that the Elite version will be lowered in price to take its place.
